On Wednesday we went for a final walk around Weymouth town and the old harbour and along the marina. There is a really huge boat moored in the marina which dwarfs all the other boats.
Scarlett is back home now. On Tuesday we went for a nice walk along the front towards Lodmoor Park looking at the lovely houses and beach huts. There are several cruise ships anchored in the bay while they are not in use. We are trying to find out which ones they were and we think one of them is the Cunard liner Queen Elizabeth. In the afternoon we went to Dorchester. We found the house in the town which was supposed to be the house of the Mayor of Casterbridge in the book by Thomas Hardy. Today I have just walked around the town and actually picked up a couple of Christmas presents! Apart from that I have been working on my CAL. Just 5 more rows to do of part 3. Picture to follow,
