Day nine of Jenny's big adventure and the first real day as I am now on my own. Mark and Michelle went north on the M5 this morning to home and I went south to Umberleigh in Devon. Actually I'm not quite on my own as my faithful companion Boofle is with me.  

It was raining when I arrived and I got quite wet setting up. The site is nice though, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by countryside. Also I have my own tap so tomorrow I will set it all up and I won't have to keep fetching water.

Yesterday I went to the cinema in Burnham to see the new Downton Abbey film. Really enjoyed it. Then one last look at the sea, one last walk to feed the donkeys and along by the river. 

I have a new knitting project with me for the Autumn. It's a woolly jumper in aran weight knitted in a basket weave stitch in a dark olive green.
