Front path is all finished. I think it looks much better and it will be easier to get the bins in and out. I just need to do some work in the garden now to get that all nice and tidy. I picked up a hydrangea plant tonight from Lidl when I was shopping so that's a start.

The guys came back today to carry on with the front path. Back came the big lorry to drop off the pack of slabs and the sand which are now sitting on my front lawn. Some progress made and coming back again tomorrow. Went for another walk on Sunday and took some better pictures of the lambs. There are six of them.
There was just one guy who lifted the slabs with a shovel, broke them, put them in the grab and hoisted them onto the lorry. It didn't take him long and he says 'hopefully' they will be back on Monday to level up and lay the new slabs. I hope so as I my path is now just dirt. Please don't rain! I have now sold 5 of the items I put on Marketplace, all paid for and collected/delivered. I agreed to deliver some as it wasn't far away. And, this has now emptied a crate that was in the bottom of a cupboard. (So I can re-fill it with other things!)
I had a lovely video call with my friend Jackie today. She moved to the wilds of Lincolnshire just before Christmas. She gave me a tour of her new home which is a large bungalow with lots of land. I am hoping to go and see her some time this year and will also meet up when her husband services my caravan in a few weeks time. Have fixed the little drawers I varnished to the wall ready to be filled. I have been really busy with work all this week but managed to get out for a short walk today. I was pleased to see that the sheep were back in the field....and ....they have lambs! I tried to photograph them but they kept moving so the pictures aren't great.
Happy Mothers Day to all you moms and grans out there. I hope you're being spoiled rotten! I have had some lovely presents and cards. Thank you so much. The blue cushion looks great on my new sofa that I finally managed to get for the conservatory yesterday. I saw it advertised in the week but then had to find a 'white van man' to collect it for me. There were messages and phone calls flying about all over the place on Wednesday evening but managed to get it sorted and collected it at 9.00am on Saturday morning. Really pleased with it and have added the blue cushion I knitted as well. Also glad to report that the conservatory is now nearly dry. While I was fetching the sofa on Saturday morning the lads came back and laid the final 3 slabs (I thought there only 2 but we found another). They also put gravel round the edges so it now looks all neat and tidy. I also bought 6 dianthus plants from Lidl which I intend to put in the various pots that I have around the garden. I got up some of the leaves last weekend but there are loads left and the green bin is full and won't be emptied till April 1st.
Well, the slabbing work is nearly done. They worked really hard today and it's looking great. They just need to come back again next Saturday to lay another two slabs that were left over and put some gravel around the edges. I can now get to the shed without squelching through the mud. Just need to give the garden a really good tidy up but it's freezing out there at the moment. The window cleaner came in the week too so the outsides of the conservatory windows are lovely and clean. Downside is the bedroom windows are now out of reach so I will have to figure out how to clean them. Saw some cute little table lamps for sale in the week that I thought would look nice in the conservatory so fetched them yesterday and they are now quarantining on the floor. Still unsure what kind of sofa to get but slowly getting there. I wish the floor would dry. I leave the windows open and it looks almost dry and then the next morning there are wet patches again. Have also been running a heater and the dehumidifier (not at the same time as leaving the windows open of course) and water is still being collected. It's driving me nuts!
