All of the things that I have made recently are for Secret World Wildlife Rescue to help them to raise money. Besides the quilt, bags, aprons, face cloths, tissue cases and the 2 foxes I also sorted out some things that I had left from when I had the shelf in the shop. There are 2 shawls, 2 berets, a child's owl hat, 3 chunky beanie hats, a frilled scarf, mohair cardigan, blue turban and scarf set, a cake plate, 2 pretty pink lacy cushion covers, 2 rag wreaths, 2 sewing jars, a teacup pin cushion with saucer and plate, a fabric purse, 2 hedgehog pincushions, 30 Christmas decorations (mini jumpers, hats, wreaths and skates), 4 long beaded necklaces and some small bits of jewellery.
I rang first and asked them if they wanted the quilt and the other things and they were very pleased so I have now packed it all into bags. There are 8 bags of handcrafted things and 6 bags of ordinary charity shop donations. Good job there is only me in the car! I am to take them to their main centre which is just down the road from where we stay at West Hill Farm and there is a car park at the front so that will make it easy to drop them off.
