Have carried on with the card making. I have been using up some kits that I had and adding some other bits and pieces.
Finished off the pair of ladies grey fingerless gloves and added a couple of the purple roses I crocheted to the backs to make them a bit prettier.
Well, I should be writing this in the caravan at Tewkesbury Abbey, however, I am at home. I went to get the caravan out on Sunday and found the storage yard very wet!!!. There were huge lakes covering some of the pitches as you can see from the photo. Fortunately my pitch was not under water but I was still concerned about the ground conditions. I checked with the site and found I had booked a grass pitch and they had no hardstandings available. As the forecast was for more rain this week I thought it was best not to go. I think it is supposed to be better next week so will try to book something for then. I would like to use the van one more time before I put it away for the winter.
So, instead I have made another 6 cards. Some of them I will keep to use myself and some will be for Secret World. I also finished off the cushion covers from last week. The plain one is for the craft room and the lacy one for Secret World.
Sometime last week I made a beanie hat from some berry coloured chunky wool which I forgot to post a photo of and am currently using up some add balls of DK to make fingerless gloves. Photos to follow!
Now I really must do some work on my CAL as I shall be getting all behind.
Small hedgehog all completed and the other 2 tote bags. Poodle yarn all gone, I had about 4" left!.
Batch of 11 jars of apple and onion chutney made today. Chutney takes longer to make than jam as there are more ingredients to prepare. I now have absolutely no empty jars left at all!. I used the apples that I picked at Brockhampton in September and froze the ones I had left.
I am Jenny (when I was little my dad always called me Jenny Wren) and I enjoy making hand crafted things. Watch this space to see what I am working on.
