Also finished one more Christmas present and started another.
Have finally finished part 4 of the CAL. Made a few changes to the pattern as I didn't like all of the 'spider web' in the corners as I thought it would weaken the finished blanket as it was only hanging by a thread in places and the finished blanket will be very heavy. I tried to make it a bit more robust.

Happy birthday to Debbie for yesterday! Have been carrying on with my CAL and have now done all of the shapes and have started to join them together. Went for another nice walk today and found some very round fluffy sheep in the field at the end of the road. They seemed quite friendly! Also another lovely tree.
Drove back up from Burnham on Wednesday morning. I had to be back by 12.00 as someone was coming to read the solar panel meter between 12.00 and 16.00. Luckily they came at 12.30 so I was able to go shopping in the afternoon. Now that I have finished all the things for Secret World I am starting on my Christmas presents. There are a few things I want to make but I can't post pictures as they are secret!. So far I have done one. Also carrying on with the CAL, though I am behind at the moment. Need to have part 4 done by next Wednesday and I have only just made a start. For this part I have to make a series of shapes which will then be joined to the main blanket. Four diamonds done so far. Went for a nice walk today and captured a few Autumn pictures. Decided to go back into Burnham for a better look round. While I was in a shop (luckily) there was a terrific hailstorm. It quickly stopped and cleared up but I managed to get a picture of a pile of hail. Went for a walk across the beach a little way, totally deserted but rather windy.
Well, here I am in a Travelodge in Highbridge in Somerset. Managed to change the booking and dropped all the bags of goodies off at the Secret World pop up shop in the High Street. Weather is very windy and it rained quite a bit driving down. Clear here now though. View from the window and Burnham sea front.
Back home now. Set back just before 9.00am on Saturday morning and arrived home at 12.20. Weather was horrendous, wind and rain all the way home. Luckily it had stopped when I got home so I was able to unload the car without getting everything (including me) soaked. Finished the last couple of rows of my CAL so I am ready to start Part 4. Popped over to take Debbie her birthday present today as again I would not have been able to take it next weekend. I met them by the garage and we had a quick catch up. I was nice to see them.
