Went to see Mary Queen of Scots at the cinema on Wednesday morning (special screening for oldies with cheap tickets, tea and biscuits!) and afterwards went to the Virgin shop at Merry Hill and got my phone fixed. I was then able to access the photos I had taken on holiday so have updated some of the posts.
Went with Shelagh yesterday afternoon to a meeting of the local historical society which was very interesting. The speaker was talking about the clothing worn by those who lived and worked on the canals. She was an excellent dressmaker and crocheter and had recreated a lot of the clothing and other items including two lovely rag dolls, a boy and a girl in traditional costume.
Later I had a lovely tea with Michelle's family to celebrate her dad's birthday but today it will be back to the decorating.
