Thought I would take a look at the flight of locks at Caen Hill that I read about. Apparently there are 29 altogether coming down from Devizes towards Bath and 16 of these are in a continuous flight. The others slightly (though only slightly) more spaced out. We have done a bit of boating on the canal in the past so I am always interested in canals (though the longest flight we have done is Foxton locks which I think is 8). There were a few boats going up and down and a swan had a nest.
When I got back I did a bit of sewing. I have made two cushion covers and a pretty lining for my laundry basket. (I will photograph the laundry basket when I am back home, I hope it fits). I also sewed all of the ends in on the beret I have crocheted, just the scarf to do now.
I am Jenny (when I was little my dad always called me Jenny Wren) and I enjoy making hand crafted things. Watch this space to see what I am working on.
