Left the guest house this morning after a lovely breakfast and headed south towards Skipton. Passed through the pretty village of Kettlewell on the way. Weather cloudy but mild.
Next stop was Skipton which is a busy market town and it was market day! There is a castle, which I didn't go round but which looked impressive, and a canal which runs through the town. I also managed to find (though I had to ask in a knitting shop) Coopers cafe where apparently the lady from the Attic 24 blog gives crochet lessons.
Staying in a Travel Lodge in Halifax for the next two nights. It looks like it used to be part of a mill which has been turned into offices. Exploring the Calder (Happy) Valley tomorrow.
I am Jenny (when I was little my dad always called me Jenny Wren) and I enjoy making hand crafted things. Watch this space to see what I am working on.
